New member here from Alberta Canada

Post by Turbobri »

Hi guys,
Thought I should say hi as I just purchased my first 750 Turbo less than a week ago. Like most of you I'm sure, this was a bike I lusted after when it came out, but no way could afford it. Here we are 36 years later and I can not believe this bike showed up 45 miles away. Unbelievable!! I was the first to call and first to go see the owner to view. He was the second owner and owned it for 17 years. The last 5 years it sat in his airplane hanger covered. Only 5300 miles on it..

Here are a few pics when i picked it up and at home after a wash :)

Thanks for the welcome guys...

gpz, Ive just been doing some basic maintenance including the clutch basket mod. Sounds beautiful running but I have not ridden it yet. Tires are 20 years old so have new on order. Probably a couple weeks away yet. Other than that i've just been staring at it in my garage in disbelief that I actually own a 750 Turbo. Not sure about you guys, but I have never seen one here on the streets. Cant wait to get it out and play.
