Re: my starter went out

I remember using one years ago but I had to change something. I just don't remember exactly what. :? I'm sure it didn't cost anything because I had no money.

Although hard to come by something nice like yours, bikes can be bought, built. Hope you heal fast and are up riding again soon. :(

oil filter bolt leaking

I guess I should have replaced the o-ring but got lazy. If I drop the filter out, will all of the oil drain?

Re: Question??why is everyone so pissed at Mike chestnut??

If there had been a 750turbo.com before I paid Mike for a race mode computer modification, I might not be pissed at Mike Chestnut.

I doubt anyone bothered with a race mode dyno at lower boost levels. The main reason to do the mod would be higher boost.

I bought a 750A with 600 miles on when it was crashed. The crank looks just like in MrFluffy's picture. I doubt anyone had split the cases on a 600 mile motor so there must be two different cranks for the A model.

From the 750A parts that I have, the A rotor does not fit the E crank.

I don't recall exactly what the difference is but I do know the A model is not the same.

I have a fork brace on original forks. Tried everything over the years to cure the problem. For me the problem was the rider. I just have to remember to relax, don't keep a death grip on the bars and like magic the weave goes away.

In 1989 the dealership down the street had a leftover 750 turbo and I had worn out my old bike. $3200, can you imagine getting one brand new. What a steal!

Or forget to connect the fuel return. It's amazing how much dumps just by turning the key.

I love the rush of acceleration when the boost coming on as much as anyone. IMO the 750 Turbo is one of the most fun bikes ever made, but a modern 600 will kill it everywhere but straight line. Even when the first 600 hurricane came out I had to work hard to keep up with a friend and I was always ...
