I ran a stock rear with a 14 for 1/4 miles and an 18 for general riding. With the 880 and stage 5, it was great.

Re: John
I just got back from my orientation in Cookeville with Averitt Express. Long and boring. I have to go to my service center tomorrow morning and Mon. I'll be hitting the road with my trainer for about 6 weeks then, I'll be on my own.
Re: Hello, Goodbye!
Right now, both my wife and I have been unemployed since the end of 2005 and I had a slight injury incident so, our funds are very limited right now and although I was aware of the wi-fi, I'm not really in shape to buy a laptop right now. In fact, had I not timed everything the way I did, our next ...

Hello, Goodbye!
Hello all!
I'm sure you are aware I haven't posted much since selling my turbo. I've been spending most of my online time on the KLR site. I tend to post the most according to the bike I'm using most. Anyway, some of you may know I've been unemployed since the end of 2005. Well, Monday the 6th ...

Re: 530 Front Sprocket GPZ750
Arrowhead Motorsports sells shim kits for the KLR650 that should work for the turbo as they share the same splines. I use them when I switch to a Yamaha 12t sprocket which is narrower than the stock KLR one. You would probably need two shim kits. They also sell a prevailling torque lock-nut which ...

Re: Offset sprocket
Ah! If that's the case, any sprocket with the correct splines should work. You just need to have it cut down and welded to the main sprocket. I actually have several but, have plans for all of them once I start making money again.

Re: 530 Front Sprocket GPZ750
I don't understand why you need a different sprocket because of the rear? Are you planning on using it for an offset?

Re: 530 Front Sprocket GPZ750
have you tried Sprocket Specialists? The turbo shares the same splines with the KLR650 and Yamaha 660 Raptor and the YZ460. One of those might have an option that will work. I've got an 18 tooth I bought from SS a few years ago but, it's not for sale. I've also got a 12 tooth!

Re: Boost Pressure
The simplest explanation of surge is it is the air equivalent of cavitation in water. The compressor wheel is literally ripping the air instead of catching and moving it. Once the outer edge speed exceeds the speed of sound, it starts ripping the air and catching it again rapidly which will develop ...
