i would imagine that the sensor will not give a reversed voltage but will give a lower voltage at vacuum. what you need is either a negative pressure column or your lowest bin value should be at your idle voltage.
i.e make your scale something like 1v(or your actual reading at idle) -4.5v

im interested in your reply to Lfd about the rechroming.
over the years many people on here have looked into it and reported that it is unavailable for various reasons , the restrictions/banning of the chemicals ...

that and the fact they are too small in diameter so a bit restrictive.
especially when switching to race mode.
lots of folks replaced them with any number of less restrictive options from open dumps to replacement single silencer pipes like harris and predator etc.
many obviously then chucked ...
