If you are trying to remount the ORIGINAL type regulator and have lost the screws and bracket, you can search for them on ebay by typing in
"kawasaki 750 turbo"
"kawasaki 750 turbo fuel" to narrow it down
or type in the part numbers.
Try searching the part numbers on google as ...

Re: Aluminum vs. steel sprockets: Are we over the lightweight hype?
Please allow me to ask how old you are. That's rhetorical because I don't really need to know...but I am 67 now and although I still ramp the bike up a bit here and there briefly just get an orgasm off the shoulder pulling amount of thrust, I just don't ride like I used to when I was 20-30's. I'm ...

Re: Problem Question
It sounds like a momentary complete electrical failure.
Pickups on the right side (check the wiring and harness connector near the fuel filter (disconnect and reconnect several time to scrap the contacts)
The igniter (check all connections...same as above)
Computer not much to offer here

Re: Wanted To Buy See Pic
THAT is good news and thanks for your research and time and effort on this.
I am experimenting as well. I found a set of pickups on ebay for a fuel injected 1984 GPZ 1100 that I think will work.
On our bikes the part number is xyz and the GPZ 1100 is abc so I wondered what is the difference. Then ...

Re: Wanted To Buy See Pic
I researched those models...
The GPZ 550 and 750 are normally asperated and have no fuel injection or electronics. So the pulse coil is different.
While the GPZ 1100 has a similar electronic control system with fuel injection like the Turbo, it's pulse coil is a different part number. With no specs ...

810 Kit with Cylinder For Sale
Many of you have been following my video in "Projects"
I was going to upgrade to the 810 kit but decided to just put in new rings.
I bought a spare cylinder off Ebay a while back. Came from a crashed bike with 19,000 miles on it.
Ebay listing.... $800usd

Wanted To Buy See Pic
Well, while working on the bike today I brushed up against the ride side and snagged the freaking wire coming out of the pulse coil.
And of course it is so close to the block, there is no way to salvage even a millimeter of the wire to solder it. But maybe I can
use a utility blade to trim around ...

Re: Head/Valve Cover Broken Bolt Ear
Actually I found something way better... I remembered an infomercial I saw on TV way back when I was in my thirties... An amazing welding material called "Alumaloy." Alumaloy is a rod made out of an aluminum composite that can be welded with a simple propane hand torch. In that infomercial they ...

Head/Valve Cover Broken Bolt Ear
Just discovered this...
Any ideas on how to fix this? Somehow I don't think epoxy is going to hold.

Re: Projects Update. Turbo Rebuild
Your way is the way manual says but I like to do each cylinder at a time and work down the line. As long as the cam lobes are in the right positions, either way works.
I'm hoping that after running the engine a bit the compression will improve as the ring seat into the cylinders. I had planned on ...

Re: Low Compression Update 9/21/26
I'm not going to worry about the compression since it's all in spec now. Cyl 1 2 and 3 are at the bottom with 90psi and 4 is at 118psi. NOt perfect but doable.
My new focus is getting the valve clearances and making any adjustments there...if I can still get shims.

Re: Low Compression
WOW...Great advice. Thanks Rangeroy for checking the video. You saw where Kawi mounted the sprocket wrong on the exhaust cam...assholes. They must have used the ZX7 mark at the factory.
Yeah snagging the cam chain is/was my biggest worry. I don't have a leak down test kit but I can get one. As for ...

I will try the oil trick. Apparently some of you haven't been following my rebuild videos in PROJECTS. follow the links to my Youtube videos.

Low Compression Update 9/21/26
Hey hey hey!
Whoever recommended opening the throttle for the compression test was right on! Thanx!
First, the reason number 4 was so good was because the nipple port on the fuel rail was uncapped and air was able to get in. This is the port I use for the fuel regulator.
After uncapping 1, 2 and 3 ...
