Check your scavenge pump is working. Sometimes the shafts are worn and break so no scavenging will produce a lot of smoking oily mess. May not be turbo so check the pump as its easy to remove and inspect. :thumbup Also check that your vent line on top of engine case is clear and open no kinks or blo...

Re: Turbo mounting bolts

Look up Shoulder bolts in 6mm 1.00 thread with the length of shoulder and thread on the bolt you need. Then use a washer on the shoulder size to match the design. Made a few of these years ago. :thumbup

Verify its a 6mm x 1.00 thread. Pretty sure it was but could be 8mm X 1.25.

If the turbo is upgrade with billet compressor wheel yes. It won't be rich unless your FP is to high and/or TPS not adjusted correctly. :thumbup

Re: runs to rich

3 long 3 short is Race Mode your correct.
If the turbocharger is stock connect the brown lead at computer or where it was cut re connect it. Do not use Race Mode with stock turbo.

This is likely why so rich running. :thumbup

Re: Refurb of low km Turbo

Not original Thrust Bearing Screws. Always use a hand held impact with torx bit and give it a solid hit they loosen instantly. Just trying to turn them will round the heads out as you have happened. Use impact with it way it is may still break them loose. Seen lot worse and got them loose. Don't be ...
