Re: Bums to Bonniville- gsxr 750 turbo
I have been pretty busy latley- built my Megasquirt and stim board and all checked out very well. I had a set of gsxr 1000 tb's modded to fit the spacing for the intake boots and slapped them in the other day. Bought all the required sensors and made a wire harness for it and borrowed the fuel pump ...

Re: Bums to Bonniville- gsxr 750 turbo
Storm has two liquid-cooled intercoolers, one is a conventional chargecooler (Pace style) and one is a laminova cooler. Look that one up, but let's not try to run before we can walk eh? ;)
good point.. ive got a long way to go before worrying about that stuff.
how about a 'walk' question then ...

Re: Bums to Bonniville- gsxr 750 turbo
What i was thinking about is using something to spray the intercooler besides window washer fluid or water that will absorb a lot of heat by vaporizing- latent heat.
Water has the highest specific heat capacity of safe to use liquids. Ammonia is higher but you don't really want to be squirting ...

Re: V-ROD
my dad had a vrod a few years back and i loved riding it. it was a very fast bike ( straight line ) and it would even light the tire up shifting between 1st and 2nd. Rode it all day long and never got a sore back.. rode my moms Suzuki S 50 to town and contemplated calling for a ride home

Re: Bums to Bonniville- gsxr 750 turbo
Greg: you pretty much nailed it on the head: i dont have the slightest clue of how to build the ideal motor. Hence why im here, and spending hours and hours reading up on things. Re: Bums to Bonniville- gsxr 750 turbo
i found my throttlebodies- 2007-2008 gsxr 1000 @ 44mm and almost the same spacing as my slingshot manifolds. I believe all ill have to do is space them out inbetween no2/3 cyl to make them fit. Anyone know a reliable source for flow rates on stock injectors? never heard of a water/ice intercooler ...

Bums to Bonniville- gsxr 750 turbo
So after buying my first 7fitty turbo and drag racing at the mission raceway something dawned on me.. i like going fast.. VERY fast for that matter. A friend i work with told me about a project CB 450 bound for the salt flats in Utah entering in a class with a speed record of something in the 130mph ...

The bike came with a receipt from hour for race mode. Yup race mode enabled. What's the best way of going about fixing tps? I s there a throttle stop that could be bent or allowing it to go past w.o.t.?

I had my Seca turbo sent away to texas ( forget the shop name ) and had it totally rebuilt for $550us..it was a good build, they even did some wastegate work for me- most of you probably know the seizure rate of the seca turbo waste gates is 100% haha  i searched on TMIOA and found a thread ...
