Re: New silencers / mufflers
Here is an old picture of my bike, the one that is used & abused. The other is the resto bike. It gives you a good idea of the position of the silencer. It also shows how the pipe running under the bike looks to be pretty much parallel to the frame. The gaps can be seen as well, maybe allowing y...

Re: New silencers / mufflers
Looking at the 2 pics, it looks as though the entire assembly angle is out. Starting at the rear bolt / mounting hole, the silencer needs to tilt down at the front slightly, lifting the rear end of the silencer. That should allow the second bolt hole to line up and the bolt to go in. More importantl...

Re: New silencers / mufflers
I do not have any of the new silencers from Malcolm, but knowing his attention to detail, having a pair of originals to use as templates and not having heard of any other concerns about fitting, something is odd with this set. I will measure the ones I have and then post the results. :thumbup If Wro...

Re: New silencers / mufflers
Can you put them onto the bike (as best as you can) and take some measurements & add a few photos, that way the issue may be spotted or figured out. Include 1-2 pipes where they join the silencers and the foot-peg mounting brackets in the photos. Have you got the 1-2 pipe bolted and fitted prope...

Re: Clutch Dampers - who´s supplying?
I sent the seller a message on Friday morning and have yet to get a reply.Thank you for the link to this UK based parts provider. Looks like they´re worth cheking. I am also intersted to hear what material he´s using.

Another one just sent.

Re: Clutch Dampers - who´s supplying?
I have the PDF showing how to do the job. However, for £60, it is not a bad price if someone who has got all the things & experience does it.
I have asked the seller what material he uses,

Re: Clutch Dampers - who´s supplying?
I noticed also that the link to the UK listing pointed out by RITurbo has another listing where for a bit more, the job will be done for you. As I have a couple of spares, I am tempted to send one off for refurb. :popcorn :? :thumbup However, I could take a chance and do it myself. Anybody know how ...

Hello Pete, or should I say Bonjour. Welcome to the gang, hope you get the parts you need. :) Maybe try getting in touch with the French 750 Turbo Group and hopefully someone will know of a local source for the anti-dive o-rings and other bits. https://www.750turbo.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=18&t...

Re: Fork oil level
Yep, same manual. You saw page 2-9 I used page 1-22 My manuals have the same typo. I used a length of 8mm aluminium rod with some masking tape wrapped around it at the 177mm mark. Then poured in the oil and the last few drops were added until I got oil on the bottom of the rod. Had no issues....

Re: Fork oil level
You have done what I sometimes do, I think.
Read too fast.
. Oil Level 176 +-2 Millimetres from the top.
Oil Amount 271+-4 millilitres.
One inch is 25.4 mm.
