WOW! Nice beast! Couple o' questions though. What's the unit directly above where the transmission would be? Is the intercooler going to be a liquid to air? Was the "bundle of snakes" (ode to the GT-40) exhaust necessary? When can I ride it?

Spectacular
It pretty much leaves me speechless.
I guess I will have to delve into past posts and see what I have been missing.
Best,
Phil

I'll tie this up with earlier threads and move it to the project section, but to recap this is a top fuel bike with 2 turbos in series instead of a supercharger, and methanol EFI instead of a mechanical nitro system. The bundle of snakes is the two turbos, each will run at a pressure ratio of around 3:1 to generate up to 125psi boost. There is an intercooler after each one, a conventional charge cooler for the big turbo up the front, and an 8 core Laminova cooler under the plenum for the small turbo. The engine is a 1500cc Puma with a billet 16-valve head, apart from the valve gear which is Yamaha FJ. It has been built by Mick Hand and Barry Eastman to take on the top fuel bikes but be safer and more reliable.

Both intercoolers are cooled by water which itself is cooled by CO2, approx 2lbs per run.

Havent you finished that little job yet?
Looks fun, are the handlebars to be mounted back from the yoke and have rose jointed links up to them? Ill hold off on the gnome jokes until you answer

That's not the same set-up you originally had for the turbos is it? Do you have a pic from above? You have to post a video or audio clip of it running when you can! At 125lbs of boost, what are you using for head studs? I-beams??
