PC V
I see a few Power Commander V (five) appearing on EBay these days. Anyone have an opinion on them yet?
There's more besides, joyrides and a little house in the countryside.

Re: PC V
No, but I just had this conversation with my brother-in-law.
With the pc5 I can get their auto-tune module: plug in the o2 sensor, tell the software what a/f ratio you want, and the gizmos do the rest. How different can the wiring be? I think I'm going to try it.

Re: PC V
I just ordered a PC5. They're still using the grey wire for tps. The pc5 has a separate analog input right on the module for a 0-5v sensor (boost). This sounds promising.

Parts arrived
PC5 and auto-tune module arrived today. Happy Birthday
to me. Coincidentally I'm 38 today.
Will get a o2
bung welded on tomorrow and play a little this weekend
in between going to the AMA races at NJMP which is 1 hr
from me.
The wire colors are nearly the same:
Injector wires from ecu : Blue, Green, Yellow, Orange
Wires to injectors: Wh/Blue, Wh/Green, Wh/Yellow, Wh/Orange
Grey, Black, & Red presumably tps, 12v-, and 12v+
This pc5 is normally for a zx14.

Bollocks!
I forgot to buy injectors!
How do I decide whether to buy the 310cc or 370cc from RC ?

Re: PC V
you have a PCV and autotune right - get 370cc and leave the rest to the PCV, better to be rich than lean right?

Re: PC V
I'm guessing that you are going to wire it up so its connected to the TPS and connect the Boost sensor to the auxilary analogue input.
It does sound good so I for one will be watch how you get on with interest

Re: PC V
Hi
o2 bung got welded on today. I located it where it interferes with the oil cooler lines but the oil cooler is coming off for an intercooler anyway.
RC called by phone to confirm the order, said he thinks his stock o-ringed nozzle end is just a hair large (will fit but tightly) and while converting the top to hose-mount will adjust the bottom as well ? He sounded knowledgeable and I didn't know enough to argue with him.
gpzephyr-that's what I planned. The input is 0-5v which will allow me up to 20psi using the stock boost sensor. Fine for now.

Re: PC V
Oil cooler removed, bypass drilled in pan, holes plugged. Pipe reinstalled w/o2 sensor attached. Intercooler mounted but not plumbed yet. I still have to take the airbox off & have the new snout welded on. That will happen tomorrow hopefully.
